We are SGR, a non-profit organization based in Rotterdam. Since 1983, we have provided financial protection for your booked holiday. Our goal is simple: we protect you in the event that a travel company goes bankrupt. This allows you to book your trip with reassurance and fully enjoy your holiday.
SGR has grown into the largest travel guarantee fund in the Netherlands and Europe. We have already helped more than 300,000 travellers and have paid out a total of 130 million euros. Each year, we provide protection for approximately 3 million bookings made with our affiliated travel companies. The total insured travel value amounts to 7.5 billion euros per year.
