Message for suppliers of OAD Group / Bericht voor leveranciers


Please let us introduce ourselves to you: we are SGR, the Dutch consumer protection scheme for prepaid travel money.


In accordance with article 7 of the European Directive on package travel, package holidays and package tours of June 13, 1990 SGR protects Dutch consumers against the loss of their prepaid travel fares as a result of financial failure of their tour operator.

Ergo: we are a consumer protection scheme and not a supplier protection scheme.

OAD Group is in financial failure and is no longer able to meet his commitments towards suppliers.


SGR would like to secure the holidays of the consumers who are already staying with you, including the customers who arrived Today Sep 26 and Tomorrow 27th.


Policy and procedures:
•SGR will pay suppliers for their services rendered (previously unpaid by the tour opertor), at the rates previously agreed upon with the failed tour operator, and provided that suppliers guarantee to SGR the full performance of the agreed services to clients.
•SGR will in no case take over commitments for unpaid services rendered to clients who already have finished their holidays.
•Suppliers must confirm that they will supply the agreed services to the customers of OAD Group and that they have not been paid by OAD Group.

Tui Netherlands will assist us handle these holidays.
